Return & Exchange Policy

At Kritika Kouture, we aim to ensure you are delighted with every purchase. However, if you’re not fully satisfied, you may request a return, exchange, or refund under the following terms.

 


 

1. Eligibility for Return or Exchange

We accept returns or exchanges for most ready-made products within 15 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact.

  • The item is not customised, made-to-measure, or altered as per customer request.

  • The return request is raised by emailing kritikakouture@gmail.com within 15 days of receiving your order.

  • After confirmation, items must be shipped back within 7 days of approval using a trackable courier service.

 


 

2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Earrings, jewellery, or accessories that come in direct contact with skin

  • Customised or personalised garments

  • Sale or discounted items unless faulty

This aligns with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which exclude goods that are custom-made or cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons.

 


 

3. Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding the refund status.

  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method (Stripe, Revolut Business, or PayPal) within 7–14 business days.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where the item received was faulty or incorrect.

  • If purchased during a sale or promotional offer, refunds will reflect the discounted price paid.

 


 

4. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or colour (subject to availability):

  • Email your request to kritikakouture@gmail.com within 15 days of delivery.

  • Once the returned item is received and approved, the replacement will be shipped within 5–7 working days.

  • If the requested product is unavailable, you may choose between a full refund or store credit.

 


 

5. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect product:

  • Contact us immediately at kritikakouture@gmail.com with clear photos of the issue and packaging.

  • We will cover return shipping costs and offer either a replacement or full refund.

  • Faulty goods are covered under EU and UK consumer law, including the 2-year conformity guarantee for defects.

 


 

6. Processing of Personal Data During Returns

When you request a return, refund, or exchange, we may process limited personal data such as:

  • Order number, contact details, delivery and billing address

  • Communication records related to your request

This data is processed lawfully under contractual necessity and legitimate interest for customer service purposes.
All data is stored securely and handled according to our Privacy Policy, in compliance with:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679)

  • Irish Data Protection Act 2018

  • UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (UK)

 


 

7. Delivery Delays & Lost Parcels

Once your order has been dispatched, responsibility for delivery transfers to our courier partners (e.g., An Post, DPD, or others).

  • In case of delays or lost parcels, contact us at kritikakouture@gmail.com, and we will coordinate with the courier to resolve the issue.

  • Replacements or refunds will be issued only after verification with the courier service.

 


 

8. Cancellation (Before Dispatch)

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if they have not yet been dispatched.
To request cancellation, please email kritikakouture@gmail.com with your order ID.

 


 

9. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return or exchange:

  1. Email your request to kritikakouture@gmail.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).

  2. Wait for confirmation and return instructions from our team.

  3. Ship the item securely to the address provided via email.

  4. Retain your courier receipt or tracking number until your return is confirmed.
